Statistical Analysis

Yesterday afternoon I was toying with the idea of going back into the garage to have yet another play with my train set,,, but,,, I didn't,,, I had been out there most of the day pottering about "as you do" and there was a distinct tightening of the calf muscles,, must be the excitement of the Swaffham show I thought to myself ,,either that or another pair of Helens pants had crept into my drawer with the inevitable result of a definite lack of blood to the legs.

Anyway I decided against it,,, and instead I slumped into the chair and had a long hard look at this very blog,, Yes Yes,,first blog of the year and 2025 was no better with a grand total of just 6 posts.

The times I have been reprimanded of late for the prolonged lack of activity on the Sal-Past Blog,,, is beyond belief,,, anyway I digress,,, now I don't know why but after looking at the interest in the latest post from this Monday evening I accidentally fell into the STATISTICS SECTION!!!.

HA HA,,, and I am so glad I did,, now it's all very "well and good" justifiably chastising the author for his lack of activity but what about the so called interest from various parties who are officially known as Followers???? mmm, MISSING IN ABSTENTIA springs to mind!!!

Please  consider this fact,,,the first ever post was on the 12th August 2007 and since then in the intervening 19 or so years the "Followers" have been enlightened with 171 posts which have attracted,, wait for it,,,A GRAND TOTAL of 9 responses // sorry comments.

And you wonder why I've lost interest???

COMMUNICATION IS A TWO WAY PROCESS..... FACT

SO,,,I am today extremely proud to announce that since August 2007 the Salmon Pastures blog has attracted 257183 "views",,, [ a considerable number of which were from RUSSIA!!!  Mmm,, but that's another story] now maths never was my strong point but I'm pretty sure that total is more than a quarter of a million,, now if you take the total posts of 257183 and divide it by 9 comments it results in [from my perspective] for every post I make I have to wait 28575 views for a comment??? 

SORRY,, NOT WORTH THE EFFORT AND MY INTEREST LEVEL REMAINS LOW., 

Is a THUMBS UP button the solution,,, not in my opinion,,, it just proves you read the last post and I already know that from looking at the STATS and FYI the last comment was December 2016!!
